The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to FC Herp Derp getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Bastian Schramm hit a great ball. Andreas Selmser made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Bastian Schramm sent off a good shot on target. Joachim Ruthus kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Ralf Brümmer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Pfunds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Harald Harneit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Hellmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ralf Brümmer struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Harald Harneit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pfunds. When Joachim Ruthus fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Herp Derp's protests and gave Joachim Ruthus a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel Hellmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Harald Harneit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Hellmann took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harald Harneit. Harald Harneit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Harald Harneit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Brümmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Björn-Torben Schilder kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Harald Harneit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Hellmann in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of FC Pfunds booed when FC Herp Derp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Ruthus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Herp Derp's zone, Sebastian Karneil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harald Harneit came out of the goal and Sebastian Karneil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gabriel Hellmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Herp Derp players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Pfunds were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steffen Koslow to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Herp Derp booed when FC Pfunds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Karneil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steffen Koslow's late challenge caught a FC Pfunds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steffen Koslow helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Steffen Koslow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralf Brümmer struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Harald Harneit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pfunds. In the 60th match minute, FC Herp Derp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn-Torben Schilder to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, FC Herp Derp's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Hellmann came free, but Harald Harneit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, FC Herp Derp's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Brümmer came free, but Harald Harneit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Karneil got free with Harald Harneit in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gabriel Hellmann sped through FC Herp Derp's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Harald Harneit. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis-Sven Tuters in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harald Harneit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute Björn-Torben Schilder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Selmser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carsten Wache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Harald Harneit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Hellmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carsten Wache might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harald Harneit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
