Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Marlon Ballack started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tom Lankes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Kehl having to make a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Petschnitzen FSV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gurtelberg:s goal. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Gurtelberg. Urs Vanek stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tim Kehl. 0-2. After 13 minutes of play, Gurtelberg's Tom Lankes made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tim Kehl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tim Kamme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tim Kehl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Lankes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Kehl having to interfere. Tim Kehl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Lankes, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Boris Breckheimer struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Vincent Ahrem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petschnitzen FSV. Thomas Jacksch hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Tom Lankes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th play minute Boris Breckheimer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vincent Ahrem. 1-4. Tim Kamme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tim Kehl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Gurtelberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philipp-Marc Thielen to maneuver through the defense. Vincent Ahrem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marlon Ballack in the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to Petschnitzen FSV getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mats-Alexander Faerber hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Vincent Ahrem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marlon Ballack in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gurtelberg's Holger Olejarz got a free kick in the 57th minute. Marlon Ballack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Ahrem having to interfere. Vincent Ahrem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Breckheimer in the 70th minute of play. Tim Kamme came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tim Kehl could save by the left post. Boris Breckheimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Ahrem having to interfere. A collision led to Gurtelberg getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Philipp-Marc Thielen hit a great ball. When Tim Kamme came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Gurtelberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Kamme couldn't finish the play. Vincent Ahrem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marlon Ballack, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Boris Breckheimer took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vincent Ahrem. Vincent Ahrem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Vincent Ahrem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Jacksch in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gurtelberg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
