The referee showed Joachim Aufhauser the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Falz booed when Neuschitz FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Aufhauser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neuschitz FSV's Carsten Feistl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Neuschitz FSV from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Randy Klaus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Björn-Torben Schicklgruber was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Falz's Björn-Torben Schicklgruber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Oelke in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jörg Weiler during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Falz's Jörg Weiler got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Falz's goal looked a bit too open when Randy Klaus came free, but Björn-Torben Schicklgruber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carsten Feistl made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Jörg Schneidereit sent off a good shot on target. Tim Schrappe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Carsten Feistl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Randy Klaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn-Torben Schicklgruber having to interfere. Jörg Schneidereit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carsten Feistl having to interfere. After 39 minutes of play Neuschitz FSV's Joachim Aufhauser was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The goalkeeper, Carsten Feistl, was totally fooled by Falz's Matthias Gäbelein, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 44 played minutes Falz got a freekick which was hit by Jan Hauser. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tim Schrappe made the kick off in the second half. Jörg Schneidereit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carsten Feistl having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Schrappe in the 56th minute of play forced Neuschitz FSV's goalkeeper Carsten Feistl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neuschitz FSV's Carsten Feistl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Schrappe in the 66th minute of play. Randy Klaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn-Torben Schicklgruber having to interfere. If Kevin Neustadt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Neustadts short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Björn-Torben Schicklgruber to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. During the 84th minute of the match Jörg Weiler completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jörg Weiler a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jörg Weiler kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Kevin Neustadt notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Falz's Björn-Torben Schicklgruber. Björn-Torben Schicklgruber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tim Schrappe struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Carsten Feistl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falz. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Neuschitz FSV walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
