In the 30th match minute, KSV Falken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan-Andreas Jani to maneuver through the defense. Sören Woltering fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Bizi having to interfere. Segundo Bizi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf-Joachim Zeyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Segundo Bizi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sören Woltering in the 39th minute. Bernd Kilders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Bizi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc-André Nachtsheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralf-Joachim Zeyer couldn't finish the play. Ralf-Joachim Zeyer might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Segundo Bizi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ralf-Joachim Zeyer ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Red Bull Salzburg's Lorenz Krause got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Stephan-Andreas Jani made in the 76th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Yannick Rist. Segundo Bizi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf-Joachim Zeyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The supporters of Red Bull Salzburg booed when KSV Falken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sören Woltering didn't get a good kick on the ball.
