After 23 minutes, Gëzim Dardanet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vlora and the Hotolisht players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Gëzim Dardanet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vlora's Saimir Leka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menti Late in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Vlora's Flamur Remziu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sander Shkatrruesi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A well placed Laurent Berati short distance shot in the 33rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Sinan Shkatrruesi struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Sander Shkatrruesi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vlora. Enton Ahmetaj hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laurent Berati stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vlora's Saimir Leka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurent Berati in the 60th minute of play. After 63 played minutes Vlora got a freekick which was hit by Saimir Maniani. In the 68th minute, Emin Hamiti made a precise shot to the right of Saimir Leka. Vlora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Sander Shkatrruesi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flamur Remziu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 75 minutes, Sinan Shkatrruesi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vlora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sinan Shkatrruesi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Hotolisht's Laurent Berati nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saimir Leka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Vlora's Migjen Pambuku suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Enton Ahmetaj charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enton Ahmetaj the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Enton Ahmetaj kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Enton Ahmetaj was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 92nd match minute, Hotolisht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emin Hamiti to maneuver through the defense. Hotolisht's supporters were highly satisfied with the result.
