Ronaldão Moreira started the match with the kick off. Ronaldão Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariglen Kllogjëri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldão Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of K.F.MALIQI booed when Kavaja FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drino Naum didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th match minute, K.F.MALIQI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ljupče Manić to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, K.F.MALIQI's goal looked a bit too open when Ditjon Bizhyti came free, but Gilles Eichenberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to K.F.MALIQI getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Shezai Hasa hit a great ball. Ronaldão Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariglen Kllogjëri having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Ronaldão Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mariglen Kllogjëri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute Ditjon Kuci suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 24th minute, Ronaldão Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Ronaldão Moreira notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Kavaja FK's Mariglen Kllogjëri. Mariglen Kllogjëri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Edwin Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niki Vreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldão Moreira scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariglen Kllogjëri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edwin Söderberg struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Mariglen Kllogjëri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for K.F.MALIQI. Kavaja FK's Mariglen Kllogjëri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Tena in the 42nd minute of play. Ronaldão Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariglen Kllogjëri having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Ronaldão Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The K.F.MALIQI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niki Vreto was the one to do the kick off. If Edwin Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, Kavaja FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niki Vreto to maneuver through the defense. When Ronaldão Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the K.F.MALIQI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldão Moreira couldn't finish the play. Drino Naum kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, K.F.MALIQI's Mariglen Kllogjëri threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edwin Söderberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 66th minute K.F.MALIQI were awarded a corner. Ljupče Manić went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ljupče Manić almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kavaja FK's Mariglen Kllogjëri did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão Moreira in the 69th minute of play forced Kavaja FK's goalkeeper Mariglen Kllogjëri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Edwin Söderberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. K.F.MALIQI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edwin Söderberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Ronaldão Moreira lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Mariglen Kllogjëri. 81 minutes into the game, K.F.MALIQI's Ronaldão Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariglen Kllogjëri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Gilles Eichenberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bulent Tola in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Ljupče Manić reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mariglen Kllogjëri. The goal made the score 0-9. If Ronaldão Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ronaldão Moreira was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to K.F.MALIQI getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Ronaldão Moreira hit a great ball. K.F.MALIQI's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
