The Kavaja FK fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Kavaja FK's Niki Vreto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Shushicë SK's zone, Niki Vreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksandër Martini came out of the goal and Niki Vreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorik Dallku in the 18th minute of play forced Kavaja FK's goalkeeper Mariglen Kllogjëri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Braho hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Thoma Pjetri put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Aleksandër Martini. When Fadil Aga fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kavaja FK's protests and gave Fadil Aga a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kavaja FK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Fadil Aga hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Thoma Pjetri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kavaja FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Aleksandër Martini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thoma Pjetri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thoma Pjetri to make the kick off. Aleksandër Martini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thoma Pjetri in the 56th minute of the match. Aleksandër Martini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thoma Pjetri in the 58th minute of play. Kavaja FK's Mariglen Kllogjëri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorik Dallku in the 62nd minute of play. Aleksandër Martini made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Niki Vreto sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Shushicë SK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Niki Vreto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Kavaja FK's Thoma Pjetri in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shushicë SK's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Kavaja FK booed when Shushicë SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Braho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kavaja FK's Thoma Pjetri in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 88th minute, Kavaja FK's Thoma Pjetri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Kavaja FK's Bulent Tola got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Shushicë SK's Aleksandër Martini got control of the ball when Niki Vreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thoma Pjetri in the 96th minute of play forced Shushicë SK's goalkeeper Aleksandër Martini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
