The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valmir Lubonja hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Kamber Malindi hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Ungrej KS's Donaldi Tepelena broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Markel Thaçi struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Merdin Mala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ungrej KS. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Erlis Maniani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ungrej KS's supporters rose to their feet, but Erlis Maniani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merdin Mala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ungrej KS's zone, Izja Kasëmllari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genti Pepo came out of the goal and Izja Kasëmllari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Ungrej KS defense, Fidan Mertiri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genti Pepo. The Ungrej KS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genti Pepo should have stopped the shot. Genti Pepo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izja Kasëmllari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donaldi Tepelena hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Zejmen FK's Izja Kasëmllari got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Izja Kasëmllari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genti Pepo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sazan Zhulali in the 45th minute of the match. Genti Pepo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Feriz Selimi. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Izja Kasëmllari made the kick off in the second half. If Izja Kasëmllari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Zejmen FK's goal looked a bit too open when Markel Thaçi came free, but Merdin Mala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zejmen FK's Tani Noka got a free kick in the 59th minute. Genti Pepo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidan Mertiri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Izja Kasëmllari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genti Pepo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Hajredin Oshafi was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Izja Kasëmllari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ersi Hasangjekaj's late challenge caught a Ungrej KS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ersi Hasangjekaj helped the player get up and apologised. Ersi Hasangjekaj kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Merdin Mala made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Erlis Maniani sent off a good shot on target. Valmir Lubonja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merdin Mala having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Sazan Zhulali was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zejmen FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ungrej KS the free kick. Ungrej KS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
