The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Besian Laraku showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rami Çekiçi, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 9th match minute, Këlcyra KF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arti Hamiti to maneuver through the defense. Fadil Starova received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Besian Laraku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Besian Laraku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asrın Yılğıralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Mitat Shaho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vajkal Hajdaraj was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Besian Laraku showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siegmund Dzembritzki in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Asrın Yılğıralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Besian Laraku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, AKADEMIA GMK's Fadil Starova nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Besian Laraku made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Besian Laraku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erin Noli in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Asrın Yılğıralp made a precise shot to the right of Besian Laraku. Këlcyra KF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 35 minutes into the game, Asrın Yılğıralp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Besian Laraku was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the match, Këlcyra KF's goal looked a bit too open when Fadil Starova came free, but Besian Laraku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Rami Çekiçi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Besian Laraku was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half AKADEMIA GMK were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Asrın Yılğıralp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Avzi Strakosha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Lino Mitxaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 52 minutes into the match, Këlcyra KF's goalkeeper Besian Laraku had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Siegmund Dzembritzki. Rami Çekiçi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Besian Laraku came out and tried to block the shot, but Rami Çekiçi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 53rd minute. Besian Laraku showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rami Çekiçi in the 58th minute of the match. Erald Dulla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Mitxaut having to interfere. Besian Laraku was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Asrın Yılğıralp capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Asrın Yılğıralp really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8.
