Zak Holyfield breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a left leg Zak Holyfield saved Poynton City from getting behind. The Poynton City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Liverpool F.C. were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mickey Bourne to strike the kick off in the second half. Gazi Özakay did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Zak Holyfield 52 minutes into the match.
