Euston FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Justin Batty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrew Bensley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Euston FC booed when Southport City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Deaconsfield didn't get a good kick on the ball.
