Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andrew Whitehead took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, John Thompson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Onion's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Thompson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute, Milton City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andrew Whitehead fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Guy Key sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andrew Whitehead in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ged Downton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Syd Thompson kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If John Thompson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st match minute, Milton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Wells to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Andrew Whitehead sped through Milton City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ged Downton. After a defensive mix-up in Milton City's zone, Guy Key stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ged Downton came out of the goal and Guy Key tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrew Whitehead's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Ged Downton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 33 minutes into the match, Milton City's goal looked a bit too open when Guy Key came free, but Ged Downton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, John Thompson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Onion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jacob Bond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Barton in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Milton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stuart Haskell to maneuver through the defense. If John Thompson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Billy Barton to strike the kick off in the second half. Bobby Driver took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ged Downton. Milton City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reuben Carpenter during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Milton City's Reuben Carpenter got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Thompson in the 55th minute of play forced Milton City's goalkeeper Ged Downton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, FC Onion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rhys Thorne to maneuver through the defense. When FC Onion's John Thompson in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Milton City's goalie prevented a goal. Jacob Bond made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Guy Fitzsymon sent off a good shot on target. The FC Onion fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when FC Onion's Andrew Whitehead looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ged Downton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrew Whitehead's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Onion's Roy Flynn got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Gavin Sewell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the FC Onion players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
