Jim Blueman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Antony Dryden fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Llorts's protests and gave Antony Dryden a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Sporting Llorts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antony Dryden to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sporting Llorts booed when SJL Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vance Cook didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brandon Grantham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Lineker in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, one of SJL Tigers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SJL Tigers. The goalkeeper, Brandon Grantham, was totally fooled by Sporting Llorts's William Croyden, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kieran Newman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vance Cook in the 24th minute of the match. Jim Blueman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kieran Newman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vance Cook's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Kieran Newman came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by SJL Tigers's Blair Le Tissier. But to his dismay, Blair Le Tissier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, SJL Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Lineker came free, but Brandon Grantham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, SJL Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Lineker came free, but Brandon Grantham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Blair Le Tissier made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Sporting Llorts's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gareth Le Saux who took care of the corner kick. Kieran Newman made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Howard Pryor sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th match minute, Sporting Llorts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antony Dryden to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute of the match, Blair Le Tissier tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kieran Newman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Blair Le Tissier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kieran Newman. That made the score 1-2 in the 62 minute of play. Mike Lineker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Brandon Grantham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mike Lineker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Jim Blueman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brandon Grantham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Blueman, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Sporting Llorts's Basil Bennett got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 84 minutes of play, Sporting Llorts's Jim Blueman made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brandon Grantham was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the match, SJL Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Lineker came free, but Brandon Grantham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blair Le Tissier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
