Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Blair Le Tissier kicked off to start the match. Howard Pryors short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Scott Holbrook to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alexander Eldridge was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bow AFC! The referee gave SJL Tigers a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gareth Le Saux, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bow AFC's Scott Holbrook. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Bow AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rowan Spacey came free, but Scott Holbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Bow AFC's Scott Holbrook got control of the ball when Howard Pryor tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Howard Pryor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SJL Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Howard Pryor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alastair Lockwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, Bow AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirk Goodall to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Howard Pryor could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Scott Holbrook however easily saved by the left post. In the 38th minute, SJL Tigers's Blair Le Tissier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Scott Holbrook. Scott Holbrook yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Scott Holbrook was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Blair Le Tissier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. SJL Tigers's Howard Pryor got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alastair Lockwood to strike the kick off in the second half. If Blair Le Tissier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Howard Pryor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scott Holbrook having to interfere. Blair Le Tissier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Scott Holbrook having to make a save. When Jacob Johnstone fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SJL Tigers's protests and gave Jacob Johnstone a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SJL Tigers getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jacob Johnstone hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Kirk Goodall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kirk Goodall charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kirk Goodall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kirk Goodall kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, SJL Tigers's Gareth Le Saux tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Howard Pryor struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Scott Holbrook didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SJL Tigers. Bow AFC's Scott Holbrook played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Le Tissier in the 70th minute of play. Alastair Lockwood struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Brandon Grantham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bow AFC. In the 78th match minute, SJL Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rowan Spacey to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Bow AFC defense, Blair Le Tissier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Scott Holbrook. The Bow AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Scott Holbrook should have stopped the shot. Howard Pryor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Howard Pryor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SJL Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Howard Pryor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Howard Pryor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that SJL Tigers were the better team. SJL Tigers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
