Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Bob Leather started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Brett Lamb was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skipton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bromley United the free kick. After 4 played minutes Skipton got a freekick which was hit by Brett Lamb. If Bob Leather had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 尤博阳 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Marston in the 24th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmy Searle during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Jimmy Searle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bob Leather in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 尤博阳 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the game, Patrick Marston cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. 尤博阳 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Steve Avery left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bromley United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Patrick Marston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 尤博阳 having to interfere. After the first half Skipton were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marc Davenport made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Skipton's Patrick Marston got a free kick in the 51st minute. Bromley United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Davenport was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute Bob Leather shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 尤博阳 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, Skipton's Patrick Marston made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 尤博阳 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bob Leather kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Bob Leather received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. 尤博阳 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bob Leather had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Patrick Marston notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Bromley United's 尤博阳. 尤博阳 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the match, Bromley United's goalkeeper 尤博阳 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Marston. 尤博阳 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bob Leather's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Basil Cornish made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Avery in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Skipton left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bromley United.
