An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsen Slyusar in the 26th minute of play forced Nadvirna FC Vorskla's goalkeeper Arsen Yatsyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentyn Gordon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arsen Yatsyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentyn Gordon couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute Zakhar Chygrynskyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olexiy Lypovyj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Valentyn Gordon sped through Nadvirna FC Vorskla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arsen Yatsyk. If Leonid Stus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zakhar Chygrynskyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute of the match, Arsen Slyusar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arsen Yatsyk was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
