The supporters of Rotor booed when Zhemrynka Metalist was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grygoriy Brovchenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Symon Uljanytskyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 10 played minutes, Zhemrynka Metalist's Zakhar Grygoryk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mykhaylo Zasyadjvovk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zhemrynka Metalist reached it. If Valentyn Puchka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mykhaylo Zasyadjvovk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petro Kulyk in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petro Kulyk in the 20th minute of play forced Rotor's goalkeeper Mykhaylo Zasyadjvovk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demjan Husyev charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demjan Husyev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Demjan Husyev kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Denys Zmievskyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, one of Rotor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rotor. Mykhaylo Zasyadjvovk went to the wrong direction when Igor Kapanystyi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Valentyn Puchka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rotor's Mykhaylo Zasyadjvovk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petro Kulyk in the 36th minute of play forced Rotor's goalkeeper Mykhaylo Zasyadjvovk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Zhemrynka Metalist's Valentyn Puchka made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mykhaylo Zasyadjvovk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petro Kulyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mykhaylo Zasyadjvovk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentyn Puchka to strike the kick off in the second half. Valentyn Puchka might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mykhaylo Zasyadjvovk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentyn Puchka ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute, Petro Kulyk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mykhaylo Zasyadjvovk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Petro Kulyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zhemrynka Metalist's Petro Kulyk got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentyn Puchka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mykhaylo Zasyadjvovk made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Petro Kulyk sent off a good shot on target. When Valentyn Puchka in the 92nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Mykhaylo Zasyadjvovk kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Rotor's Mykhaylo Zasyadjvovk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Rotor from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Zhemrynka Metalist's Valentyn Puchka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mykhaylo Zasyadjvovk. That made the score 0-6 after 97 minutes of play. When the match was over Zhemrynka Metalist could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rotor throughout the match.
