Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Buğrahan Hatmi started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Merter JK's zone, Cebrail Usberk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüseyin Turan Şahabeddin came out of the goal and Cebrail Usberk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th minute Gencal Uğurlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin Turan Şahabeddin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüseyin Turan Şahabeddin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencal Uğurlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Buğrahan Hatmi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 15th minute of the match Merter JK got a corner. Naturel Born Killers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Esat Tarancı ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gencal Uğurlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hüseyin Turan Şahabeddin having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Merter JK's zone, Cebrail Usberk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüseyin Turan Şahabeddin came out of the goal and Cebrail Usberk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Buğrahan Hatmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Buğrahan Hatmi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Naturel Born Killers getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Seyfi Temizhan hit a great ball. Gaffar Atılay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Abayhan İlke made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, Merter JK's goal looked a bit too open when Cebrail Usberk came free, but Hüseyin Turan Şahabeddin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Merter JK's Abayhan İlke threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Buğrahan Hatmi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gencal Uğurlu was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencal Uğurlu in the 54th minute of play forced Merter JK's goalkeeper Hüseyin Turan Şahabeddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Naturel Born Killers's Gencal Uğurlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hüseyin Turan Şahabeddin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute Buğrahan Hatmi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abayhan İlke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaffar Atılay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Merter JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hüseyin Turan Şahabeddin should have stopped the shot. Çelikan Tekecan's late challenge caught a Naturel Born Killers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Çelikan Tekecan helped the player get up and apologised. Çelikan Tekecan hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Abayhan İlke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaffar Atılay in the 94th minute of the match. When Merter JK's Buğrahan Hatmi in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Naturel Born Killers's goalie prevented a goal. The Naturel Born Killers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Naturel Born Killers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
