After a defensive mix-up in Carsibasi's zone, Ali Emir Kanver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bayhan Çokay came out of the goal and Ali Emir Kanver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Ahmet Oğuz Lütfi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. King Nwakaeme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Oğuz Lütfi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ahmet Oğuz Lütfi came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the King Nwakaeme fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Oğuz Lütfi couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, King Nwakaeme's Bayhan Çokay threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ali Emir Kanver, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bayhan Çokay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Emir Kanver in the 21st minute of play. Enver Erduran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nurtekin Yağın in the 23rd minute of the match. Bayhan Çokay was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Ahmet Oğuz Lütfi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ahmet Oğuz Lütfi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Enver Erduran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nurtekin Yağın, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Ali Emir Kanver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Emir Kanver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayhan Çokay having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Ahmet Oğuz Lütfi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ali Emir Kanver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. King Nwakaeme's Enver Erduran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save King Nwakaeme from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, Ahmet Oğuz Lütfi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Emir Kanver in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bayhan Çokay saved Carsibasi from getting behind. After 67 played minutes Carsibasi got a freekick which was hit by Nihat Kutluay. Levent Cevar struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Bayhan Çokay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for King Nwakaeme. After 74 minutes of play, Carsibasi's Nurtekin Yağın made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enver Erduran was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Oğuz Lütfi in the 83rd minute of play forced Carsibasi's goalkeeper Bayhan Çokay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şemsettin Erbelgin hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Ali Emir Kanver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Oğuz Lütfi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Bayhan Çokay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
