Ahmet Korkut Baydan made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Işıkalp Erkılıç sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tayfun Çelikhan during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Babak's Ali Baran Pektürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anıl Cespan in the 7th minute of play. Işıkalp Erkılıç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Korkut Baydan having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Aral Ulukaan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match, Fazlı Özdilmaç tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ahmet Korkut Baydan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ali Baran Pektürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Ömür Çalkın in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyhun Suersan in the 19th minute of play forced Babak's goalkeeper Ali Baran Pektürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Abdülhak Nevsal made a precise shot to the right of Ali Baran Pektürk. Babak's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 23rd match minute, Babak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yakup Erboy to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Rize Cadde SK's goalkeeper Ahmet Korkut Baydan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Işıkalp Erkılıç. In the 27th minute Fazlı Özdilmaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Korkut Baydan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Rize Cadde SK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Ömür Çalkın. Işıkalp Erkılıç's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ahmet Korkut Baydan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Şevket Tekdoğan charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şevket Tekdoğan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Rize Cadde SK got a freekick which was hit by Şevket Tekdoğan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Işıkalp Erkılıç got free with Ahmet Korkut Baydan in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fazlı Özdilmaç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Rize Cadde SK's Fadıl Tunçkan got a free kick in the 46th minute. If Erman Tayyip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After a defensive mix-up in Rize Cadde SK's zone, Fazlı Özdilmaç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Korkut Baydan came out of the goal and Fazlı Özdilmaç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fazlı Özdilmaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Işıkalp Erkılıç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Korkut Baydan was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Işıkalp Erkılıç in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Korkut Baydan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Korkut Baydan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Işıkalp Erkılıç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Rize Cadde SK's zone, Gündüz Hekim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Korkut Baydan came out of the goal and Gündüz Hekim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Işıkalp Erkılıç took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Korkut Baydan. Ahmet Korkut Baydan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 93rd minute Fazlı Özdilmaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Korkut Baydan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Korkut Baydan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Işıkalp Erkılıç, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Babak fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rize Cadde SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
