Faruk Zeyyat did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Okaner Tolunay 18 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Koralp Saru got free with Okaner Tolunay in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Muzaffer Koçhan during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The wind increased when Utkan Haseki made the kick off in the second half. Mersin İdman Yurdu's Okaner Tolunay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Koralp Saru in the 57th minute of play. During the 58th minute of the match Bünyamin İlkin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bünyamin İlkin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A very good chance. Avni Vedatoğulları's late challenge caught a zorro spor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Avni Vedatoğulları helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Mersin İdman Yurdu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of zorro spor:s goal. Ergin Eker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Adnan Balaman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Utkan Haseki took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adnan Balaman. Adnan Balaman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faruk Zeyyat in the 86th minute of play forced Mersin İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Okaner Tolunay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Okaner Tolunay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Koralp Saru in the 87th minute of play. Faruk Zeyyat struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Okaner Tolunay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for zorro spor. Ahmet Koralp Saru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Okaner Tolunay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Koralp Saru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okaner Tolunay having to interfere.
