To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Heybeliada SK's goalkeeper Ergincan Ozaner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Refik Onultan. Rafet Yolaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Okaner Talaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Boyabat's goal looked a bit too open when Rafet Yolaç came free, but Okaner Talaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafet Yolaç to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafet Yolaç in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Okaner Talaz saved Boyabat from getting behind. Ergincan Ozaner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Refik Onultan in the 77th minute of play. Uğur Saban hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Boyabat's Affan Açıkalın got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Ali Atıf Altunışık got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heybeliada SK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
