Ergincan Ozaner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Heybeliada SK's goal looked a bit too open when Franciszek Indyk came free, but Ergincan Ozaner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Franciszek Indyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Emrah Evvah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergincan Ozaner having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Altıncı in the 44th minute of play forced Bordo Mavi's goalkeeper Alp Baycan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franciszek Indyk to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franciszek Indyk in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ergincan Ozaner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Heybeliada SK's zone, Franciszek Indyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ergincan Ozaner came out of the goal and Franciszek Indyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Franciszek Indyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehmet Halis Şemsi struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ergincan Ozaner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bordo Mavi. Franciszek Indyk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Ergincan Ozaner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 71 minutes into the match, Cabbar Doğanten notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bordo Mavi's Alp Baycan.
