The supporters of SAW booed when Kuzguncuk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Ünsan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakkı Onur Şahbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atabek Ural in the 12th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, Kuzguncuk's Necip Fazıl Han made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hakkı Onur Şahbey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atabek Ural in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hakkı Onur Şahbey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hakkı Onur Şahbey came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Kuzguncuk's Necip Fazıl Han. But to his dismay, Necip Fazıl Han quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Atabek Ural struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Hakkı Onur Şahbey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kuzguncuk. 30 minutes into the match, SAW's goal looked a bit too open when Necip Fazıl Han came free, but Hakkı Onur Şahbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes SAW got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Necati Gökkır. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atabek Ural in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hakkı Onur Şahbey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atabek Ural in the 40th minute of play forced SAW's goalkeeper Hakkı Onur Şahbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Necip Fazıl Han came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Kuzguncuk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necip Fazıl Han couldn't finish the play. If Atabek Ural had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Hakkı Onur Şahbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atabek Ural, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Kuzguncuk's Necip Fazıl Han ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hakkı Onur Şahbey. Hakkı Onur Şahbey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Necip Fazıl Han scored 0-4 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hakkı Onur Şahbey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abbas Altınkaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Necip Fazıl Han could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Hakkı Onur Şahbey made a huge save. Necip Fazıl Han might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hakkı Onur Şahbey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Necip Fazıl Han ran back to his position shaking his head. Hakkı Onur Şahbey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Necip Fazıl Han in the 96th minute.
