Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damaso Eguntsenti started the match with the kick off. Kamuran Nusrettin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Göktuğ Baray in the 3rd minute. 8 minutes into the match, Espiye FK's goal looked a bit too open when Tarık Ulumeriç came free, but Ahmet Danış Salur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes, Erenay Kahveci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mersin İdman Yurdu and the Espiye FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Mersin İdman Yurdu got a freekick which was hit by Erenay Kahveci. A collision led to Mersin İdman Yurdu getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Sertel Rezzak hit a great ball. Damaso Eguntsenti struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Kamuran Nusrettin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espiye FK. 19 minutes into the match, Mersin İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Kamuran Nusrettin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damaso Eguntsenti. Ahmet Danış Salur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Kaan Baltacı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, Mersin İdman Yurdu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erenay Kahveci to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Damaso Eguntsenti took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Kamuran Nusrettin to make any attempt to save it. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Hüsmen Bakkalbaşı put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Espiye FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Ali Kaan Baltacı placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 35 minutes into the match, Tarık Ulumeriç notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Espiye FK's Ahmet Danış Salur. Ahmet Danış Salur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Mersin İdman Yurdu's Tolga Atasan got a free kick in the 40th minute. Mersin İdman Yurdu's Kamuran Nusrettin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Mersin İdman Yurdu from getting a goal against them. Zaid Yildıran received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kamuran Nusrettin came out and tried to block the shot, but Zaid Yildıran slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 44th minute. Bedir Açıker hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tarık Ulumeriç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Danış Salur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Ali Ülgenalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Zaid Yildıran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kamuran Nusrettin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Zaid Yildıran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Özgür Kamuran with Zaid Yildıran as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ahmet Göktuğ Baray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Tarık Ulumeriç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Danış Salur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Kaan Baltacı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, Espiye FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zaid Yildıran to maneuver through the defense. After 94 minutes of play, Mersin İdman Yurdu's Ali Kaan Baltacı made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Danış Salur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Espiye FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
