After a rather tough play, Mudurnu's Mehmet Emin Kökşin got a free kick in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Incirliova JK's Sabri Mertkan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zekeriya Teoman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Tarkan Öztanır managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mudurnu's supporters rose to their feet, but Tarkan Öztanır was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özer Berkkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
