After having played for 2 minutes, Özalp Bayrak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Afyon SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özalp Bayrak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adnan Aktaşlı might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akif Usun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adnan Aktaşlı ran back to his position shaking his head. Akif Usun made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Adnan Aktaşlı sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute of the match Selami Candemir sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Akif Usun skillfully saved the ball. Akif Usun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güneri Ulutaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Özalp Bayrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahsun Şahbender in the 20th minute of play forced Afyon SK's goalkeeper Ali Cafer Taner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Afyon SK got a freekick which was hit by Zekai Olgaç. Halil Utku Özoğuz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sefaköy JK's Mahsun Şahbender in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ali Cafer Taner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Özalp Bayrak was the one to do the kick off. Adnan Aktaşlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akif Usun having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adnan Aktaşlı in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Akif Usun saved Sefaköy JK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahsun Şahbender in the 59th minute of play forced Afyon SK's goalkeeper Ali Cafer Taner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes Mahsun Şahbender rounded Afyon SK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. 64 minutes into the game, Arif Egemen Yanık was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sefaköy JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Afyon SK the free kick. A collision led to Sefaköy JK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Arif Egemen Yanık hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Sefaköy JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Afyon SK:s goal. The referee gave Afyon SK a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Selami Candemir, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sefaköy JK's Akif Usun. 1-2. The supporters of Sefaköy JK booed when Afyon SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sami Pakkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, one of Afyon SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Ali Hamza Usal fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Afyon SK's protests and gave Ali Hamza Usal a yellow card for diving instead. Ali Cafer Taner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahsun Şahbender, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adnan Aktaşlı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 102nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sefaköy JK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
