Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hidayet Melih kicked off to start the match. When Raik Karginalp fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gürzafer SK's protests and gave Raik Karginalp a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Gürzafer SK got a freekick which was hit by Raik Karginalp. 18 minutes into the match, Eren İnan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Gürzafer SK's Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran. Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute of the match, Aras Mutlu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mithat Gökkuşağı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alkın Şanalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hidayet Melih received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran came out and tried to block the shot, but Hidayet Melih slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 30th minute. Hidayet Melih received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alkın Şanalp in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mithat Gökkuşağı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eren İnan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Gürzafer SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hidayet Melih came free, but Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gürzafer SK's zone, Hidayet Melih stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran came out of the goal and Hidayet Melih tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alkın Şanalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eren İnan struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edremit. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gürzafer SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Edremit's Hidayet Melih in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gürzafer SK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 72nd minute Eren İnan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Edremit's goalkeeper Mithat Gökkuşağı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Affan Hanönü. Eren İnan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gürzafer SK's zone, Hidayet Melih stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran came out of the goal and Hidayet Melih tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eren İnan might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eren İnan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute, Eren İnan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 81st match minute, Edremit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aras Mutlu to maneuver through the defense. Olcay Akkaş hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Gürzafer SK's Cesur Özertem shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mithat Gökkuşağı but with some difficulty. After 86 played minutes, Edremit's Ahmet Seci shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Edremit reached it. Alkın Şanalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mithat Gökkuşağı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Gürzafer SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkın Şanalp to maneuver through the defense. Mithat Gökkuşağı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alkın Şanalp in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Hidayet Melih notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Gürzafer SK's Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran. Mehmet Şefik Yuvakuran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edremit's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
