In the 6th match minute, Menderes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kemal Kabak to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 10 minutes, Cüneyd Kılınç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menderes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cüneyd Kılınç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Yaser Benlioğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menderes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Uğur Özbas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Akgün Ergüven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cüneyd Kılınç in the 26th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Menderes got a freekick which was hit by Nurkan Toydeniz. Ahmet Reha İlseven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ahmet Ömür Aydınoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Cüneyd Kılınç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akgün Ergüven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akgün Ergüven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cüneyd Kılınç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Cüneyd Kılınç made a precise shot to the right of Akgün Ergüven. GoldenBoys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The GoldenBoys players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Menderes were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cüneyd Kılınç made a kick off. Tuncer Erencan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Ömür Aydınoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Akgün Ergüven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cüneyd Kılınç, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Yaser Benlioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
