The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Çelik spor booed when Incirliova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Altay Erşahan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet İlke Uz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mümtazer Müslim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. The Incirliova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mümtazer Müslim should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Panait Ştiubei was the one to do the kick off. Andres Tximitx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rahim Haznedaroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Incirliova's Mümtazer Müslim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Incirliova from getting a goal against them. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Çelik spor's Ahmet İlke Uz in the 67th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Mümtazer Müslim was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Incirliova through an amazing save. Panait Ştiubei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Incirliova getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mehmet Şefik Onuralp hit a great ball. Erkut Tümer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. In the 84th minute Ahmet İlke Uz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mümtazer Müslim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Incirliova's Mümtazer Müslim got control of the ball when Panait Ştiubei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Refik Kabak hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Kerem Sani's late challenge caught a Çelik spor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kerem Sani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, the referee gave Çelik spor a penalty. Panait Ştiubei looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Mümtazer Müslim.
