With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Asım Tokuz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atilla Bumin Savtekin stood somewhat misplaced when Nurkan Denizalp came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 42 minute. Nurkan Denizalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Atilla Bumin Savtekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilla Bumin Savtekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurtuluş Satıbey, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Görkem Zikri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Berkem Balabey's late challenge caught a Zara SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berkem Balabey helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Zara SK booed when Akyaka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkem Balabey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akyaka's Görkem Zikri pulled a muscle in his leg after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Sarper Kapsam fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zara SK's protests and gave Sarper Kapsam a yellow card for diving instead. 79 minutes into the game, one of Zara SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 98thth minute of the game Nurkan Denizalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Akyaka's Atilla Bumin Savtekin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
