Yenimahalle JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FCBarcelona the free kick. Mustafa Orhan Erçetin was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Yenimahalle JK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Mustafa Orhan Erçetin hit a great ball. Kenan Yeltekin struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Sancar Şanalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCBarcelona. The supporters of FCBarcelona booed when Yenimahalle JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erdi Doğanlar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Güngör Şinas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCBarcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Güngör Şinas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sancar Şanalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Yenimahalle JK's Selmi Yalazay got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tayfur Doğan to make the kick off. Sancar Şanalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenan Yeltekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sancar Şanalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenan Yeltekin in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, FCBarcelona's Kenan Yeltekin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kılıçalp Muhtar charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kılıçalp Muhtar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kılıçalp Muhtar kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
