Soner Cevar started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE's goal looked a bit too open when Kubilay Usman came free, but İnanç Demiralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aykut Akgöl charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aykut Akgöl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes FENERBAHÇE got a freekick which was hit by Aykut Akgöl. Soner Cevar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Metin Hazar came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the FENERBAHÇE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Metin Hazar couldn't finish the play. Metin Hazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Nasir Nadir having to interfere. If Soner Cevar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE's goal looked a bit too open when Soner Cevar came free, but İnanç Demiralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Metin Hazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İnanç Demiralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Soner Cevar, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Kubilay Usman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İnanç Demiralp having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE's goal looked a bit too open when Soner Cevar came free, but İnanç Demiralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soner Cevar struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. İnanç Demiralp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ömerli JK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kubilay Usman in the 47th minute of play forced FENERBAHÇE's goalkeeper İnanç Demiralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

İnanç Demiralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soner Cevar in the 53rd minute of play. FENERBAHÇE's İnanç Demiralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soner Cevar in the 60th minute of play. Ahmet Nasir Nadir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşkın Baytugay in the 74th minute of the match. Ahmet Nasir Nadir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metin Hazar in the 76th minute of play. If Metin Hazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ömerli JK booed when FENERBAHÇE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demirhan Ugraş didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Soner Cevar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
