Seçkin Ortaç showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to orman yurdu sultaniyespor getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Dursun Umurbay hit a great ball. Reha İnanır's late challenge caught a Şark Gençlik SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mustafa Arif Yahya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reha İnanır in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, orman yurdu sultaniyespor's Tümer Mehdi got control of the ball when Anıl Cenk Seci tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Şark Gençlik SK's Seçkin Ortaç slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tümer Mehdi. That made the score 2-0 after 48 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Müfit Ulutay was the one to do the kick off. Tümer Mehdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seçkin Ortaç in the 94th minute of play. With his leg Mustafa Arif Yahya managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when orman yurdu sultaniyespor's Reha İnanır fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
