Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fazıl Hüsnü Felek started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Samsun's zone, Fazıl Hüsnü Felek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hazım Saatçioğlu came out of the goal and Fazıl Hüsnü Felek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kazım Temizel struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Bilge Avcı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samsun. Bilge Avcı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derviş Durkaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derviş Durkaya came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bilge Avcı could save by the left post. Derviş Durkaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 20 minutes, Samet Ersed mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akkus SK and the Samsun players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Akkus SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fazıl Hüsnü Felek to maneuver through the defense. Fatih Zeyni was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Derviş Durkayas short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Bilge Avcı to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bilge Avcı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazım Temizel, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Burhanettin Topçam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Derviş Durkaya might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bilge Avcı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Derviş Durkaya ran back to his position shaking his head. Kazım Temizel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bilge Avcı having to interfere. Fazıl Hüsnü Felek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Derviş Durkaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Samsun getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Burhanettin Topçam hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Kazım Temizel made the kick off in the second half. Kazım Temizel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Derviş Durkaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bilge Avcı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazım Temizel in the 67th minute of play forced Akkus SK's goalkeeper Bilge Avcı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fazıl Hüsnü Felek struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Hazım Saatçioğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Akkus SK. Samet Ersed was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 83 minutes into the match, Akkus SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kazım Temizel came free, but Bilge Avcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bilge Avcı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazım Temizel, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Kazım Temizel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samsun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Samsun were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
