Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Elazigspor FK's Servet Rasim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Murathan Akdoruk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Tolga Sabancı having to make a save. If Murathan Akdoruk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Akgün Şahit came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ilic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akgün Şahit couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ilic booed when Elazigspor FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüsmen Tekcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Ilic's Saadettin Çetintürk broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Murathan Akdoruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elazigspor FK's Servet Rasim got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ahmet Gökalp Akcebe fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elazigspor FK's protests and gave Ahmet Gökalp Akcebe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, one of Elazigspor FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Elazigspor FK. After a defensive mix-up in Ilic's zone, Servet Rasim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Tolga Sabancı came out of the goal and Servet Rasim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Servet Rasim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elazigspor FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Servet Rasim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Çağrı Uğurlubey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sertaç Akgüneş having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Ilic's Ahmet Boran Özger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 42ndth minute of the game Servet Rasim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ilic's Ahmet Tolga Sabancı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sertaç Akgüneş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akgün Şahit, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Akgün Şahit to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Servet Rasim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ahmet Tolga Sabancı was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Elazigspor FK's Ahmet Gökalp Akcebe got a free kick in the 67th minute. Saadettin Çetintürk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ali Çağrı Uğurlubey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilic's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Çağrı Uğurlubey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sertaç Akgüneş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute Ali Çağrı Uğurlubey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sertaç Akgüneş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Çağrı Uğurlubey in the 74th minute of play forced Elazigspor FK's goalkeeper Sertaç Akgüneş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilic's Ahmet Tolga Sabancı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Ilic from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Elazigspor FK's zone, Caner Sazak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sertaç Akgüneş came out of the goal and Caner Sazak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Elazigspor FK's goalkeeper Sertaç Akgüneş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ilic fully deserved thier win.
