Turgay Deniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nurtekin Riayet, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Ufuk Kılıçalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After some careless play in the Nigde FK defense, Batıhan Sanay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Güralp Zeval. The Nigde FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Güralp Zeval should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute, Ahmet Orhan Ülküm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Turgay Deniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Turgay Deniz made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Nurtekin Riayet sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Nigde FK's zone, Batıhan Sanay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Güralp Zeval came out of the goal and Batıhan Sanay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
