Sarikamis FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silopi FK the free kick. Tekin Sebuktekin hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Sarikamis FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yüce Özalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peyami Geçimoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aykutalp Arslantürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercan Ulutan in the 17th minute of play. Abdulhamit Bağış received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aykutalp Arslantürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hasan Tahsin Cenap kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ahmet Hasan Vedat kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Birol Yüce in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 56 minutes, Ercan Ulutan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silopi FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ercan Ulutan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Birol Yüce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ercan Ulutan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hasan Tahsin Cenap during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Sarikamis FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hasan Tahsin Cenap to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Sarikamis FK's goalkeeper Aykutalp Arslantürk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdulhamit Bağış. Birol Yüce ran back to his position shaking his head. Birol Yüce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peyami Geçimoğlu having to interfere. Sebati Koyas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Birol Yüce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Silopi FK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sarikamis FK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
