In the 30th minute, Abdulkerim Hür hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Orkatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hıdır Yeğiner took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kurtuluş Ucatekin. Diyarbakir FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Harun Özge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Ahmet Harun Özge took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Nurettin Temizöz to make any attempt to save it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Nurettin Temizöz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Osman Denizalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tevfik Yıldız during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Fenerbahçe SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tevfik Yıldız to maneuver through the defense.
