Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Atilla Timurcan started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Salihli SK got a freekick which was hit by Erim Yavuz. Ahmet Sedat Eskioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Abbas Oray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Sedat Eskioğlu got free with Abbas Oray in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute of the match Hüseyin Rahmi Ekiner shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abbas Oray showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Salihli SK's Abbas Oray got control of the ball when Ahmet Sedat Eskioğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ahmet Sedat Eskioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salihli SK's Bedih Tuğ suffered a concussion in the 22nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. In the 22nd match minute, Necatibey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hatemi Arslangiray to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Yahya Eryiğit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sait Başkara having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Atilla Timurcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Necatibey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilla Timurcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Salihli SK's zone, Atilla Timurcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abbas Oray came out of the goal and Atilla Timurcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Murat Tüzmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Sedat Eskioğlu took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abbas Oray. Abbas Oray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ahmet Sedat Eskioğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abbas Oray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Salihli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pars Ongunalp to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Sedat Eskioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Abbas Oray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Yahya Eryiğit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Salihli SK's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Timurcan came free, but Abbas Oray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilla Timurcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbas Oray having to interfere. Ahmet Sedat Eskioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Salihli SK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Murat Tüzmen hit a great ball. Atilla Timurcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Abbas Oray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Salihli SK got a freekick which was hit by Murat Tüzmen. When Necatibey's Ahmet Sedat Eskioğlu in 83 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Abbas Oray guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Abbas Oray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Sedat Eskioğlu in the 84th minute of the match. Atilla Timurcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbas Oray having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Sedat Eskioğlu in the 92nd minute of play forced Salihli SK's goalkeeper Abbas Oray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Salihli SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Necatibey.
