Akcakoca's Buğra Aytekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halit Ziya Köksal in the 44th minute of play. Tasköprü's Halit Ziya Köksal managed to work through Akcakoca's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Halit Ziya Köksal dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Vedat Hallaçoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halit Ziya Köksal in the 59th minute of play forced Akcakoca's goalkeeper Buğra Aytekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Akcakoca booed when Tasköprü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haşmet Ogansoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kağan Adalı was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tasköprü's Ali Galip Erdoğan pulled a muscle in his leg after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Akcakoca getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Denizhan Aksakal hit a great ball. Vedat Hallaçoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Buğra Aytekin made a huge save. Vedat Hallaçoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Buğra Aytekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Vedat Hallaçoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vedat Hallaçoğlu got free with Buğra Aytekin in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vedat Hallaçoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Buğra Aytekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
