Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mehmet Ali İşcan started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Derviş Tümel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkan Kutsan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Saricakaya's goal looked a bit too open when Behlül Çalkın came free, but Berkan Kutsan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saricakaya's Berkan Kutsan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behlül Çalkın in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Sabahattin Lokman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkan Kutsan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seyfullah Dikmen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alperen İşkembeci. In the 16th minute Derviş Tümel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkan Kutsan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seyfullah Dikmen made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Arın Beysun sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behlül Çalkın in the 19th minute of play forced Saricakaya's goalkeeper Berkan Kutsan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Mehmet Dalga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saricakaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sultanahmet the free kick. A collision led to Saricakaya getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Mehmet Dalga hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Saricakaya's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Kutsi Alatay came free, but Berkan Kutsan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Saricakaya defense, Behlül Çalkın kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berkan Kutsan. The Saricakaya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berkan Kutsan should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Behlül Çalkın had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berkan Kutsan. Saricakaya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Behlül Çalkın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Seyfullah Dikmen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Ali İşcan went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Selmi Bostan hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Arın Beysun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berkan Kutsan came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Sultanahmet's Derviş Tümel. But to his dismay, Derviş Tümel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. With a little luck, Saricakaya's Berkan Kutsan got control of the ball when Ahmet Kutsi Alatay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arın Beysun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Saricakaya's goalkeeper Berkan Kutsan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabit Baykal. 88 minutes into the match, Kuddusî Cevar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Berkan Kutsan, 1-6. In the 97thth minute of the game Mehmet Ali İşcan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sultanahmet's Seyfullah Dikmen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Sultanahmet left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Saricakaya.
