Cayirli's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kürşat Tunçdağ in the 8th minute of play forced Cayirli's goalkeeper Celal İnanç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celal İnanç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sezer Başar in the 9th minute. Kürşat Tunçdağ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celal İnanç having to interfere. Kürşat Tunçdağ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Celal İnanç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Babür Neba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hazım Taşcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Pasabahce's Önder Özyurek got a free kick in the 55th minute. Rahmi Yaldırak in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pasabahce had won after a very even match.
