Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ercan Adsoy kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Karamürsel booed when KAPIKULU ASKERLERİ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafer Esir didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Karamürsel's Ahmet Hakan Akar got control of the ball when Paşa Sayhan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th minute, KAPIKULU ASKERLERİ's Ercan Adsoy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With an all-out effort, KAPIKULU ASKERLERİ's Ahmet Hakan Akar threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ercan Adsoy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. KAPIKULU ASKERLERİ's Şahap Oğuralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birol Nejat in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind KAPIKULU ASKERLERİ's goalkeeper Şahap Oğuralp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Hakan Akar made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Kasım Sipahi sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th match minute, KAPIKULU ASKERLERİ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafer Esir to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Ercan Adsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hakan Akar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ercan Adsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute of the match, Paşa Sayhan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ahmet Hakan Akar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 40th minute, KAPIKULU ASKERLERİ's Ercan Adsoy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Hakan Akar. Ahmet Hakan Akar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Metin Talaş hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Birol Nejat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Birol Nejat made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sermet Tansu during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paşa Sayhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Hakan Akar having to interfere. When Ercan Adsoy came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the KAPIKULU ASKERLERİ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercan Adsoy couldn't finish the play. Sermet Tansu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ahmet Hakan Akar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercan Adsoy in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Ömer Rıza Tokuztuğ was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karamürsel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KAPIKULU ASKERLERİ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Karamürsel's Ömer Rıza Tokuztuğ got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 66 played minutes Karamürsel got a freekick which was hit by Sermet Tansu. KAPIKULU ASKERLERİ's Hamza Özguven couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Karamürsel. In the 69th minute Paşa Sayhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hakan Akar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Şahap Oğuralp managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Karamürsel's Rafet Uzsan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rafet Uzsan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Birol Nejat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Şahap Oğuralp. That made the score 2-1 in the 84 minute of play. Ercan Adsoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Hakan Akar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ercan Adsoy ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, Karamürsel's goal looked a bit too open when Ercan Adsoy came free, but Ahmet Hakan Akar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Karamürsel players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KAPIKULU ASKERLERİ.
