Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cengizhan Temizel got the match started through his kick off. Cengizhan Temizel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cavit Hayal having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, cihangircavuş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alpertunga Mehdi to maneuver through the defense. When Cengizhan Temizel came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the cihangircavuş fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cengizhan Temizel couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serhat Özdamar in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olcay Orkun Hatim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Serhat Özdamar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cavit Hayal made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Cemal Sadan sent off a good shot on target. Naim Mansız received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Olcay Orkun Hatim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes cihangircavuş got a freekick which was hit by Nadir Zafir. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Serhat Özdamar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Olcay Orkun Hatim. The audience was convinced that Serhat Özdamar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olcay Orkun Hatim was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, GaLaTaSaRaY SK's goal looked a bit too open when Cengizhan Temizel came free, but Cavit Hayal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Cengizhan Temizel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cavit Hayal. Cengizhan Temizel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serhat Özdamar was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Aytek İpekçi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cavit Hayal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, GaLaTaSaRaY SK's goal looked a bit too open when Cemal Sadan came free, but Cavit Hayal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55thth minute of the game Cengizhan Temizel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GaLaTaSaRaY SK's Cavit Hayal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Naim Mansız had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GaLaTaSaRaY SK's Cavit Hayal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cemal Sadan in the 63rd minute of play. Ralf Sundström hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naim Mansız in the 68th minute of play forced cihangircavuş's goalkeeper Olcay Orkun Hatim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cengizhan Temizel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cavit Hayal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cemal Sadan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cavit Hayal having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Gürcan Umman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GaLaTaSaRaY SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gürcan Umman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cavit Hayal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cengizhan Temizel in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Cengizhan Temizel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cavit Hayal. GaLaTaSaRaY SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cengizhan Temizel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Cengizhan Temizel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cavit Hayal having to interfere. Ralf Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Ferdi Özengin sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Olcay Orkun Hatim threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ferdi Özengin this time. cihangircavuş's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
