Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Işık Uçkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. BUCASPOR-Ersan's supporters rose to their feet, but Işık Uçkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İsmail Hakkı Akdoğan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Levent Başdemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erman Deren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Behçet Emir's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. İsmail Hakkı Akdoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levent Başdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by BUCASPOR-Ersan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Doğukan İmroz was slow to take the kick. During this time Catalca's players had a chance to rest. Behçet Emir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erman Deren having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Catalca's zone, İnanç Saatçioğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İsmail Hakkı Akdoğan came out of the goal and İnanç Saatçioğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Işık Uçkan fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BUCASPOR-Ersan's protests and gave Işık Uçkan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BUCASPOR-Ersan getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Işık Uçkan hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in BUCASPOR-Ersan's zone, Behçet Emir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erman Deren came out of the goal and Behçet Emir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Behçet Emir to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, BUCASPOR-Ersan's goalkeeper Erman Deren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sancarbey Tülek. Sancarbey Tülek kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 55thth minute. Though ot was a great shot BUCASPOR-Ersan's keeper Erman Deren was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 64th match minute, BUCASPOR-Ersan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Hamdi Şenaltan to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match, Sancarbey Tülek got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erman Deren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Catalca's Behçet Emir in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BUCASPOR-Ersan's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Levent Başdemir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BUCASPOR-Ersan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Levent Başdemir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Behçet Emir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Erman Deren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Işık Uçkan kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Sancarbey Tülek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erman Deren having to make a save. 85 minutes into the match, BUCASPOR-Ersan's goalkeeper Erman Deren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sancarbey Tülek. Sancarbey Tülek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Erman Deren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. BUCASPOR-Ersan's Erman Deren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save BUCASPOR-Ersan from getting a goal against them.
