The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Şevket Tümen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Elçi in the 13th minute of the match. Şevket Tümen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayram Özben, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Arif Tugay Arslan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Şevket Tümen made a huge save. Şevket Tümen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Elçi in the 25th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Baykam Direnç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şevket Tümen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Kutluay Vahap fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 35th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. After a rather tough play, Pazaryolu's Tuncay Engiay got a free kick in the 36th minute. Hakkı Onur Özpolat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Bayram Özben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şevket Tümen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hakkı Onur Özpolat made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baykam Direnç in the 52nd minute of play forced Düzköy's goalkeeper Şevket Tümen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şevket Tümen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayram Özben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şevket Tümen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baykam Direnç, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Düzköy's goal looked a bit too open when Bayram Özben came free, but Şevket Tümen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Pazaryolu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Düzköy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
