If Onurhan Özçınar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ataol Nasih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rıza İlsu in the 6th minute of the match. Aytunç Akkılıç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Onurhan Özçınar's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Zile's zone, Serhan Hafız stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ataol Nasih came out of the goal and Serhan Hafız tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıza İlsu in the 20th minute of play forced Zile's goalkeeper Ataol Nasih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rıza İlsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Nasih having to interfere. Ataol Nasih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıza İlsu in the 23rd minute of play. Emrullah İmran kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Engin Özoğuz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ataol Nasih. Zile's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Emrullah İmran hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ataol Nasih made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rıza İlsu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ataol Nasih having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Onurhan Özçınar made the kick off in the second half. Onurhan Özçınar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aytunç Akkılıç having to interfere. Polateli's Aytunç Akkılıç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Egemen Abdulhakimoğlu in the 58th minute of play. Rıza İlsu charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rıza İlsu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Polateli got a freekick which was hit by Rıza İlsu. Onurhan Özçınar struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Aytunç Akkılıç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zile. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serhan Hafız got free with Ataol Nasih in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Rıza İlsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polateli's supporters rose to their feet, but Rıza İlsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ataol Nasih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emrullah İmran hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serhan Hafız got free with Ataol Nasih in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Rıza İlsu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Despite being the better team, Polateli failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
