If Yiğit Tüzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Sogukkuyu's goal looked a bit too open when Yiğit Tüzer came free, but Behram İlgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mevlüt Acemoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azmi Öğün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hurşit Deren struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Mevlüt Acemoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sogukkuyu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azmi Öğün in the 23rd minute of play forced Yavuzeli FK's goalkeeper Mevlüt Acemoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yavuzeli FK's Mevlüt Acemoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hurşit Deren in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Sogukkuyu booed when Yavuzeli FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lütfi Başesgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hurşit Deren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kemalettin Saraçoğlu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Kutluay Olcaytu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Behram İlgi. Sogukkuyu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kutluay Olcaytu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 52 played minutes Yavuzeli FK got a freekick which was hit by Kemalettin Saraçoğlu. Kahraman Ogansoy charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kahraman Ogansoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, one of Sogukkuyu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sogukkuyu. Saadettin Özdoru shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Kutluay Olcaytu struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Behram İlgi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yavuzeli FK. Azmi Öğün scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mevlüt Acemoğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, one of Yavuzeli FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yavuzeli FK. The score was 1-2 after a penalty in the 72nd minute, where Sogukkuyu:s Muhammet Atatuğ tricked Yavuzeli FK:s Mevlüt Acemoğlu with a difficult ball by the left post. Behram İlgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kutluay Olcaytu, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A collision led to Sogukkuyu getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Hüsmen Demirağ hit a great ball. Behram İlgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yiğit Tüzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, Azmi Öğün recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mevlüt Acemoğlu. Azmi Öğün showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 86th minute Kutluay Olcaytu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behram İlgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azmi Öğün could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Mevlüt Acemoğlu made a huge save. Hurşit Deren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mevlüt Acemoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Behram İlgi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yiğit Tüzer's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sogukkuyu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
