The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 0-1 became the score in the 4th minute when Selmi Elmacı elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tolga Onuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziya Onur Başeğmez in the 7th minute of the match. Ahmet Turan Uçkun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selmi Elmacı in the 15th minute of play forced Catalca's goalkeeper Tolga Onuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Selmi Elmacı might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tolga Onuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Selmi Elmacı ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmet Turan Uçkun scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anıl Akçakoca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Çeliker Sarvan fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catalca's protests and gave Çeliker Sarvan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Çeliker Sarvan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Turan Uçkun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Akçakoca having to interfere. Catalca's Tolga Onuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turgut Ezelhan in the 39th minute of play. Turgut Ezelhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tolga Onuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Çeliker Sarvan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Selmi Elmacı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolga Onuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arda Boran got free with Anıl Akçakoca in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgut Ezelhan in the 55th minute of play forced Catalca's goalkeeper Tolga Onuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yatagan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Salih Altunç in the 57th minute. After taking down the ball on Yatagan's corner Salih Altunç fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tolga Onuk quite easily take care of the ball. Tolga Onuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turgut Ezelhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The supporters of Yatagan booed when Catalca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barışcan Garipbaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Selmi Elmacı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Tolga Onuk made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Arda Boran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anıl Akçakoca. Yatagan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arda Boran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Selmi Elmacı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yatagan's Anıl Akçakoca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arda Boran in the 80th minute of play. Ahmet Turan Uçkun took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anıl Akçakoca. Anıl Akçakoca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 87 minutes into the match, Catalca's goal looked a bit too open when Ercan İribaş came free, but Tolga Onuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Turan Uçkun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Turan Uçkun in the 91st minute of play forced Yatagan's goalkeeper Anıl Akçakoca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Turan Uçkun in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anıl Akçakoca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anıl Akçakoca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arda Boran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Catalca fully deserved thier win.
